Welcome to the Apostolic Church of Las Vegas
We want to welcome and thank you for taking the time to visit our site. We are a one God church and believe that we should follow the Apostles Doctrine. The word Apostolic means “Apostle Like”. Paul himself said “Follow me as I follow Christ”‘ Here at the Apostolic Church of Las Vegas, Nevada, we do exactly that. We believe that the bible is the infallible Word of God. That is why we are bible based and heaven bound. Our church was founded on the day of Pentecost and we have been in the Las Vegas Valley since 1962, but our Doctrine is from the Apostles and established by the Word of God. Join us for church and lets worship God and walk together in the LORD.
Our Church Services
Our services are full of truth. From prayer and song service to the preaching of the gospel, we truly enjoy living for God. We welcome visitors and are a church filled with love and encouragement. If this sounds like something you have been needing in your life, then please stop in and join us for church.
Our Rich Heritage
We have a such rich heritage and a long lineage of great men who have preached the gospel. Founded by Pastor Emeritus Dallas Mefford and his wife Sister Ethel Mefford, the Las Vegas church has been going strong for over 57 years. They had a burden for the lost and had committed their lives to God at a young age. He was called to Las Vegas and he let God use him to build His (God’s) church. Our beloved Pastor Emeritus came to this truth under the godly guidance of Brother Ike Terry in Bakersfield, California during the depression era. Once he retired, God’s work continued on through Pastor Steve Stoltzfus. The Las Vegas church is a rock in a city that is full of temptations. These men of God stood for this great gospel and passed what they were given on to many, including many daughter works in places such as Salt Lake City, Las Cruces, Pahrump and more. Though times have changed, Pastor Steve Stoltzfus still preaches the gospel just like Peter did on the day of Pentecost.
Understandest thou what thou readest?
It’s the question that Phillip asked the eunuch in the book of Acts. His answer is all too common. “How can I except some man should guide me?” If you feel a little overwhelmed by what you’re reading in the bible, then come to one of our weekly Bible studies or schedule a time for us to come to you.
